Our Dearest Melinda

Friends & Family,

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of our beloved sweet Melinda. Please be reassured she went very peacefully and was surrounded by an abundance of family. What an Angel she was to so many and most certainly is occupying a special place in heaven.

We are all managing things quite well as we are supplying comfort to one another. Please know that your prayers I know were heard. God's plan was to have her take her place in heaven today, and we know that she is looking over all of us.

Arrangements for her will be made tomorrow, but we do know that services will be at Ingram's Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The viewing will be Friday and the Funeral on Saturday. Specific times will be determined tomorrow. We will do our very best to inform you of the details.

God Bless You All!

My prayers are with all who loved Melinda. I will remember her sweet personality and gentle heart. I feel blessed to have known her and worked with her for even a short time. May God give peace and comfort to each loved one who will now have to learn to live without her being here. She will forever be with you in your hearts.

We know that Heaven has gained a very special angel this evening. Melinda taught us all so much about courage, faith and humor too! Her lessons will live on with us and our children (who she taught). We are honored to have met her. We take comfort in knowing that she is truly home.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
God Bless,
The Clark Family (CHris, Michelle, Keenen and Riley)

I am so sorry that I never got to meet Melinda in person. Her presence was a source of great strength to me 10 years ago and this I will never ever forget.

My condolences to all of you, Melinda's friends & loved ones. I am sorry I never got to meet her in person as she was probably one of the most courageous people I have ever met.

Much love to you all,
Mare

Words can't express the sadness I feel for your whole family on the loss of Melinda. You have all exhibited such grace and cheerful while facing such a tough fight. May the strength of your faith and the knowledge that she is with her savior give you some comfort. Your children's ability to perform at their school is a tribute to them and to you and Melinda. I hope they realize the joy they gave Melinda when she was able to watch the videos of their performance.
God Bless

My heart still can't grasp that we won't be hearing that beautiful laugh again. Melinda taught us all about how to live life to the fullest and how to die with dignity and grace. To the end, she helped those around her. I know heaven is rejoicing and yet we here on earth continue to try and understand why someone so wonderful is gone so young. God's peace be with John, Rachel Rose, Caroline, Jan, Ina, and all the rest of the family. You will always hold a huge place in our hearts.

I hope and pray that Melinda's young daughters and her family will find the strength to continue life without their sweet Melinda around them.
I never met her personally, but have followed her blog regularly and was inspired by her strength and cheerful optimism.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Melinda. Melinda was an amazing person (so patient and kind). She was my son (Nick's) teacher for Pre-K at Primrose. What a wonderful teacher! It was always so nice to walk into her Pre-K class and hear her singing a cheery song to the kids. Everybody loved her!! We are very honored to have known her. If there is anything we can do for the family, we would love to help. Nick is in RR's 1st grade class (we would love to help out with playdates, babysitting, dinner, etc. - our cell is 770-364-5230). Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
