PET scan results

Well, the PET showed spread to my lungs and bones. In my bones, there is are spots in my right scapula (that is very painful!), the base of my neck in my spine, and my 11th left rib. He is recommending radiation for the bones. I've had good success with that, so I'm hopeful there. And he is suggesting more chemo for my lungs, ugh! I really don't want any more chemo. I feel it is doing enough damage on its own. I think we may plan on seeing someone from Emory and perhaps MD Anderson. Will let you know what plays out. I appreciate all the prayers!

Thinking about you, Melinda. Blake still asks about you and has many wonderful memories of Pre K with you. You truly touched his heart. You remain in our prayers and we wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas!

I love you girl. I am so sorry to hear this news. I know God is with you, and I pray that you are uplifted by the prayers of your friends and family. May you all be blessed with a special Christmas being together. I am glad you are considering MD Anderson. I have three friends there now, and things are going amazingly well.
I'll talk to you first of the week, and I pray for less pain and more strength and joy.
Love, Debra

Sorry to hear that you have health problems. Hopefully, they'll find a cure for cancer in the next 6 months. It seems like I see you once every 10 years. I was at Bob's funeral in April.
